Yoga with Sandra Kynes

Unlike stretching or other kinds of fitness programs, yoga is more than a physical routine because we connect the movement of the body and the fluctuations of the mind to the rhythm of our breath. The awareness that we cultivate is what makes yoga a practice, rather than a task to be completed or a goal. Yoga is a wonderful method for self-exploration and empowerment that provides a foundation for mental clarity, emotional stability and physical vitality.

Gentle Yoga

For all levels, this class is designed for those who prefer a less strenuous approach to yoga. Using classic and modified Hatha yoga postures, this slower but equally effective practice helps to safely build strength and flexibility for comfort and well-being.

Calming and therapeutic, gentle yoga encourages an inward focus to develop self-awareness and ease in the postures. This healing and contemplative yoga style is ideal for those with high stress, 55+ or anyone just beginning yoga.

Class components include:
- Postures to develop strength and flexibility.
- Breathing techniques to reduce stress.
- Relaxation to calm the body and mind.
