I describe myself as an explorer of Celtic history,
myth and magic. My curiosity has taken me to live in
New York City, Europe, England and New England. Spiritually,
my inquisitiveness has led me to investigate the roots
of my beliefs and study ancient texts such as the Mabinogion.
Through the years I have been working to integrate my
spiritual path with my everyday life in order to live
my truth. In addition to writing, I am a yoga instructor,
massage therapist and Reiki practitioner.
One
thing I have discovered is that I tend to see the world
a little differently than most people. I like finding
connections between things and creating new ways and
methods for exploring the world around me. This is how
I created the non-traditional approach to feng shui
using gemstones and crystals, which resulted in my first
book, Gemstone Feng Shui. My book Whispers
from the Woods was created in a similar way because
there are so many ways that can be used to access and
work with the energy of the green world. My book Your
Altar was a result of my spirituality expanding
through the study of scripture related to my passion
for yoga. |

A
life-long interest in archaeology and anthropology (my
major in college) was deepened during the time I lived
in England. Tracking down remnants of stone circles
and other sites is a passion I like to pursue on return
visits to the British Isles. Through my interest in
early Goddess-worshipping cultures and after leading
the workshop “Cakes for the Queen of Heaven”,
I created my own workshop called “Understanding
the Language of the Goddess.” Based on the work
of Marija Gimbutus, it combines so many of my interests
and includes a ritual for each session.
My
writing has been featured in various Llewellyn publications
and online journals.
My books include:
Gemstone Feng Shui (2002)
A Year of Ritual (2004)
Whispers from the Woods (2006)
Your Altar: Creating a Sacred Space for Prayer and Meditation
(2007)
Sea Magic: Connecting with the Ocean's Energy
(2008)
Change at Hand: Balancing Your Energy Through Palmistry,
Chakras & Mudras (2009)
